Our new series runs on Sundays at 10.15am starting January 15th. Come and enjoy an experience, embracing all our senses, focused on discovering how we can encounter the God who brings hope, love, meaning and purpose into our lives.

Changes

As a church we are now underway with our exciting building project. The first stage saw the demolition of the Church Hall, next to the church. Now the second stage is just beginning as contractors finally move onto the site, ready to build the new Church Centre. You can find out more about what we’re doing and read the latest update on how things are going.

As a result of the building work, we now don’t have a hall at all and so everything that has been taking place there has now moved out. Ngage, our Sunday morning children’s groups and the midweek Uniformed Groups have moved to St. John’s Primary School, Westmorland Avenue. Other events including our Evening Service, our 10am Thursday service and most other midweek activities have moved to St. Alban’s, Park Road.

Last, but not least, our 10am morning service has changed its start time from 10am to 10.15am.

Parking at St. John’s

UPDATE on Parking at St. John’s

Our building project is now underway and our church hall is demolished. Contractors have now moved onto the site to start work on building the new Church Centre and so, please note that there is NO PARKING ON THE CHURCH SITE AT ALL and there is only a very limited amount of space on the road outside church which we are keeping for those who are disabled.

Parking is also not allowed on the side roads immediately around the church, so if you are coming to St. John’s please park further away, for example on Oxford Road, and walk the remaining distance. If you are able to walk to church, please do as that helps reduce the pressure on parking space.
